One Iota has just released their latest single “More Than This”. The York-based classic rockers take heavy inspiration from the greats like The Beatles and Pink Floyd. This ambitious new single boasts great harmonies, emotive keys and stellar solo performances from both the guitar and saxophone.
Running at a lengthy 6:00 minutes, One Iota explores the complexities of a relationship that has come to a standstill–unable to fulfill its true potential and slowly becoming a burden. They have managed to fill every minute with lush melodies, nostalgic harmonies and a pacing that savors every inch of sonic space for maximum effect.
While listening to their songs and exploring their history, it immediately becomes clear that One Iota is extremely passionate at what they do. The band started out as a three-piece Beatles cover band (affectionately named The Threetles), During the pandemic, they took on a drummer and started working on original material, which led to the making of their 2022 debut More Than You Take.
One Iota takes cues from the classic rock greats, favoring melodic songwriting with a very honest and genuine approach.
