Ottawa’s self-proclaimed #1 Band in Golf—MAJORS—just ripped the tape off their latest banger “Bullet On A String,” and holy hell, this thing SLAPS harder than your drunk uncle at a wedding reception.

Let me tell you straight: this track is pure adrenaline shot to the heart. Vocalist Justin Camarena is giving that early-2000s pop-punk fire while keeping one foot planted firmly in the modern dirt. You know those rare days where your brain and body actually cooperate? Yeah. That’s the song. Camarena says it’s inspired by those magic moments when everything clicks—whether it’s a relationship crushing it, work actually cooperating, or in their case? Smashing a golf ball a mile like some kind of weapon. Hence the title.

And can we talk about the riffage? Jason Mooney and Nathan Pearce on guitars are trading licks like they’re trading insults. Drummer Rich Latour is back there keeping the whole damn thing breathing fire while the rhythm section locks in tighter than tour van luggage.

The video was shot guerrilla-style during their November 2025 headlining run at Ottawa’s Rainbow and Montreal’s Turbo Haus. Ryan Stacey (yeah, the Live Nation and Escapade Festival guy) directed this chaotic beauty with Hi8 handycams and modern digital vibes smashed together. They filmed in Montreal alleyways like actual punks, and it shows. Mixed and mastered by Dean Hadjichristou—the dude behind Parkway Drive, Four Year Strong, and Protest the Hero—so yeah, it sounds MASSIVE.

Play “Bullet On A String.” Play it loud. Play it stupid. And for the love of punk, go catch these maniacs with Strung Out and Belvedere on May 10 at Ottawa’s Overflow Brewing. MAJORS just drove it 300 yards straight down the fairway of your face. Deal with it.
