We spoke with Flock of Indifference about their sound, their past and their latest and current release. Check them out at the links below and be sure to stream their latest EP called “Crashing Together.” We are big fans and hope you enjoy! ✨ ••••••••••••••
How would you describe your music to someone who’s never heard it?
Uptempo, melodic, guitar rock with elements of surf, post punk and C86.
How has your sound evolved since you first started making music?
More textured as we developed our sound.
What’s a bizarre or unexpected inspiration behind one of your songs?
Pivotal Incident is about when I lived in Manhattan and almost never went to the other boroughs. I went on a date in Brooklyn which I regarded as the Wild West and hung out with a girl who talked about conspiracy theories the whole night. Thought that’s what everybody in Brooklyn was like.
What’s the most memorable moment of your music career so far?
Opening for the Waldos (who had a former member of Johnny Thunders Heartbreakers). They really liked us and gave us $200, the most we’ve ever made at any show.
Tell us all you can about your latest release and where and when to find it?
It’s a 3-song EP called Crashing Together. It’s on Bandcamp and all streaming services. flockofindifference | Instagram, Facebook | Linktree
