If you’ve been wandering through the musical wasteland looking for a three-minute blast, stop right now. Fair Green just dropped their debut single, “Tuesday Morning,” something that feels like a double shot of espresso injected straight into the heart.

Straight out of the borderlands of Leitrim and Roscommon, this brand new outfit has just signed with Scotland’s The Barne Society, and they’re kicking off 2026 with a serious bang. The track dropped on February 14th, and it’s the first taste of their upcoming full-length, Killer Universe.

Now, let’s break this lineup down, because it’s the engine that makes this rocket fly. Up front, we have frontman Harry Bouchier on vocals and rhythm guitar. Here’s a guy coming from the world of electronic music and DJ booths, but you’d never guess it from the raw, driving energy he brings here. He says this is about “finding meaning in the everyday rush,” and you can feel that tension in the verses—that breathless feeling of trying to keep up with the clock.

But the real thunder comes from the backline. On drums is Thomas James Simon. This guy has serious pedigree, having played with Paolo Nutini and even signed with ZTT Records back in the 90s as part of The Marbles.

And let’s not forget the rest of the crew. Udo Grunewald on bass with melodic lines that lock in with Simon’s drums to form a wall of rhythm you could bounce a truck off. Then you’ve got Roy Branagan on lead guitar, slathering the whole thing with a dynamic edge and warmth. Recorded at The Barne Studios under producer Marco Rea and engineered by the meticulous Roddymacaudio, the sound is crisp but filthy in all the right places.

Tuesday Morning” is an honest look at the modern rat race, and it rocks harder than it has any right to. Fair Green just served notice that they’re here to play. The single is out everywhere now, so go stream it.
