You ever have that 2 a.m. spiral where your brain decides to build a skyscraper out of a tiny little ant hill? Yeah, Don Drapery gets it. And on his new track “Oh My God,” dude turns that into a sardonic, hook-loaded monster that won’t leave your skull.

For the uninitiated: Don Drapery is the solo baby of Jason Turner—yeah, the lead vocalist/guitarist from Columbus alt-rockers Fashion Week and a founding member of Fine Citizens. The guy’s already got 1.3 million streams under his belt and TV sync placements. But this? This is different. This is him stripping back the loud amps and letting the freak flag fly acoustic-style. Almost.

“Oh My God” is the second single off his sophomore EP Something Worth Repeating (dropping June 2026), and let me tell ya—it’s the most kinetic, spit-fire track on the whole damn record. Produced by longtime collaborator Jeff Martin and recorded between Longmont, Colorado and Columbus, Ohio, the song hits like a sugar rush mixed with existential dread. Turner’s cataloguing that overthinking mind with both humour and genuine ache. He’s out here describing a man making “mountains out of a hill, like an architect with theatrical skills“—fully aware how ridiculous it is, but powerless to stop the ride. Been there, pal.

Sardonic, bouncy, anxious as hell—like if your therapist handed you a guitar and said “let it rip.” Session players Andrew Lee on bass and Jeremy Steckel on guitar lock in tight behind Turner’s voice. This ain’t some weepy, burn-every-bridge sad bastard tune. Nah. It’s the slow creep of “I know I’m being crazy but I can’t stop.” Relatable as hell.

If the rest of Something Worth Repeating hits half as hard as “Oh My God,” we’re in for something special. Don Drapery took his overactive mind, put it to tape, and somehow made it feel like a party. A sweaty, uncomfortable, brilliant party. So for the love of punk, stop making mountains out of hills.
