Dragut Lugalzagosi—yeah, that name alone sounds like a warlord who writes poetry—has birthed something absolutely filthy and beautiful under the name Britney Freud. This debut single “Feelings For Violence” is NOT messing around.

From the first crunchy seconds, you get hit with “tender crooner noise and catchy limbo punk.” And fuck yeah, that’s exactly what it is. Dragut’s vocals wobble between a vulnerable whisper and a dirty snarl like he’s about to either hug you or start a bar fight. Maybe both. At the same time.

And that violin solo? They straight-up admit it’s the corniest one ever recorded. But guess what? It WORKS. It’s so ridiculously over-the-top that it circles back around to genius. You’ll laugh, then you’ll feel something cracking in your chest.

This thing is about a tough friend-heartbreak. Dragut lost an important friendship, felt lost, wrote this song, and THEN went to therapy. That’s the most punk rock shit I’ve heard in years. Just bleeding honesty about loving another man and it falling apart.

The music video follows some burned-out finance bro type losing his damn mind with uncontrolled dancing, ending up in the woods, collapsing. But then BF—Britney Freud—shows up as this “superhero of emotions.” And yeah, that sounds cheesy until you realize how badly we actually need that.

Dragut gets it. Men are dominating all the wrong statistics—violence, self-harm, suicide. Boys growing up without a language for their feelings. Claustrophobic gender roles. Norm porn. Taboos. This song is a middle finger to all of that while simultaneously offering a long, desperate hug.

More love between men,” Dragut says. And if you’ve got a problem with that, go cry about it somewhere else.

Right now, “Feelings For Violence” is ONLY on YouTube and Bandcamp. No Spotify. Dragut is skipping the big streamers because of ICE ads, AI music promotion garbage, and how musicians get treated like dirt. Spread love instead, indeed.

This one’s a ripper. Go find it. Feel something. Then go hug your bros.
